Accommodation
Do Wanted job offers include accommodation?
+Yes — all Wanted job offers include free accommodation. We provide every worker with a private (single) room in a shared, fully furnished house close to the project location. This means you don’t need to worry about finding a place to stay. Whether you’re an electrician, welder, fitter, or other skilled tradesperson, we make sure you arrive to a clean and comfortable home, with everything ready so you can focus on your job.
- Private bedroom
- Shared kitchen, bathroom & laundry
- Fully furnished
- No rent or bills to pay
At Wanted, we believe that having a proper place to rest is just as important as having good working conditions. That’s why we take care of both. We also provide you with a shared company car for your daily commute.
Where will I live and how is travel arranged?
+Wanted organises company-paid accommodation, usually private rooms in modern houses or apartments close to site. Utilities, WIFI and weekly cleaning are included, so you focus on work—not finding a flat in a new country.
We also refund mileage or provide shared company cars. Type “jobs with accommodation Netherlands” into Google—chances are one of our vacancies pops up.
Salaries
How much is the salary of electricians, welders, and ironworkers?
+At Wanted, skilled workers such as electricians, welders, and ironworkers typically earn between €18 and €21 net per hour. Based on a 40-hour work week, this means you can expect an average monthly net salary of €2,880 to €3,360, depending on your experience, qualifications, and the project location.
This is take-home pay, after taxes and social security contributions — already arranged for you by our team. We also offer free accommodation, transport, and support throughout your
contract.
- Weekly salary payments
- Consistent projects in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany
- Long-term job opportunities for experienced professionals
If you are a certified tradesperson from the EU looking for stable and well-paid work abroad, join Wanted — we specialize in connecting skilled workers to top construction and industrial projects across Europe.
What can I earn and how are wages paid?
+Hourly rates start at €15–€21 NET for core trades such as carpenters, pipefitters and scaffolders—already higher than many local pay-scales when you factor in a standard 40-hour week. Specialists with scarce qualifications (think coded TIG welders, HV electricians or GWO-certified turbine technicians) naturally earn more, keeping Wanted’s vacancies listed among the best-paid technical jobs in the EU for anyone Googling “high-pay skilled labour Netherlands” or “well-paid engineering jobs Germany.”
Many of our projects run scheduled overtime that can extend your week to 48–55 hours during peak phases. Every extra hour is paid at the premium rates set by Dutch, Belgian or German labour agreements, so you collect the full overtime uplift legally owed to you.
Payments hit your bank weekly, giving you steady cashflow for family expenses back home. All payroll is fully EU-compliant, with correct tax deductions and holiday pay stated clearly on each slip—no surprises.
Vacancies
Do I need a VCA certificate before starting?
+Not necessarily. While many Dutch and Belgian sites require it, we regularly run free VCA training and exams. Complete the one-day course, pass the test, and you’re certified for ten years—unlocking a wide range of “VCA jobs Netherlands”.
If you already hold VCA or SCC (the German equivalent), great! You can be fast-tracked to urgent projects. Either way, Wanted makes sure you hit the ground compliant and confident.
Do I need to speak Dutch or German to work with Wanted?
